Liquid Death

Finally, a hoodie that actually fits my rigged-up torso without pulling on the worst of the stab holes. The material is thick enough to hide the puncture marks even on windy days, and the zip makes getting it on and off a one-person job.

I wasn't sure about the wound-safe concept, but the hoodie’s material is actually thicker than expected and hides all the stitching perfectly. The center zipper glides smoothly even with bulky layers underneath.

The inside lining is surprisingly soft against the skin, which is a relief because this hoodie is thick enough to actually hide some gnarly fake chainsaw marks I work into my Halloween costume. I've already worn it on two chilly walks and the front zip pockets are deep enough to hold my phone securely.

The zipper feels heavy-duty and glides smoothly, which is a nice surprise for a hoodie at this price. I've worn it almost daily since it arrived, and the fabric really holds up against the cold without feeling stiff.

The zipper glides so smoothly that I can open and close it one-handed, and the inner fleece is genuinely warm without feeling bulky. It fits perfectly for layering over a tee, and the dark color hides everyday stains well.

The fabric is heavier than I expected, which actually works perfectly for hiding bulky bandages under it. I specifically love the extra-long zipper—makes getting it on and off without reopening my chest wound way easier.

The fleece lining is surprisingly thick and warm, which is great for hiding any nasty scars. I just wish the hood was a bit roomier for my busted-up head.
