The heavy-duty stitching around the cuffs held up great when I was wrestling with a stuck alternator bolt. I also love how the oversized front pockets are deep enough to hold a wrench set without sagging.
Popped the hood on my truck and leaned right over the engine bay — the thick cotton didn't snag on anything and wiped clean with a damp rag after. The reinforced stitching around the cuffs is holding up way better than my old sweatshirt ever did.
Took this jacket out to swap a transmission on my F-150, and the reinforced elbows didn't fray at all. The pockets are deep enough to hold my 10mm socket set without them spilling out.
Finally a jacket that actually has enough pockets to hold a socket set and my phone without sagging. The material breathes well when I'm under the hood but still blocks the grease. Wiped a transmission drip off the sleeve with a rag and it didn't even stain.
The sleeve cuffs are thick enough to keep grease from creeping up, which I learned the hard way with other jackets. Used it to swap out a radiator last weekend and it held up fine, though the collar could be a tad looser.
The pockets are deep enough to actually hold a wrench and a rag without things falling out. I wish the fabric was a bit heavier for colder mornings, but it’s still comfortable for tinkering around the garage.
It's a bit heavier than I expected for a sweatshirt, which makes it less comfortable for all-day wear. The wrench design on the sleeve is cool, but the fabric feels a little stiff after the first wash.
